Baked Apples are the result of Apples that made contact with Fire.[1][2][3] They are softer and sweeter than regular Apples.[1] By eating one, Link can restore three quarters of a Heart.[1]
When Link first meets the Old Man at his Campfire, he can steal his Baked Apple and have the Old Man lecture him.[4] The Old Man will then tell Link he was only teasing him.[5]
If Link speaks to Juney, who can be found in Rito Village, she'll explain that she's upset with her husband bringing her there for her honeymoon, and they only way she won't divorce him is if he brings her a Baked Apple.[6] This initiates the Side Quest "The Apple of My Eye". Returning to Juney with a Baked Apple in your inventory will prompt her to ask for it in exchange for a present.[7] She'll give Link a Silver Rupee in return. Juney laments that her husband doesn't cook her Baked Apples very often.[8] She also asks Link to bring her more Baked Apples if he can.[9]
