Unofficial Name

Arrow Orbs are recurring objects in the The Legend of Zelda series. These levitating orbs are adorned with an arrow-like design.

The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass

Arrow Orbs appear in dungeons. Their principal function is refiring arrows that have been shot at it in whichever direction the orb's arrow points, allowing Link to hit objects he could not hit previously with his Bow. The direction in which the arrows are shot can be changed by hitting the Arrow Orb with the Boomerang or his sword; every time it is hit, the arrow's direction rotates clockwise to the next compass direction.

The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks

The Arrow Orbs Spirit Tracks serve the same purpose as in Phantom Hourglass. However, in Spirit Tracks, the orbs can be picked up and thrown by Link and the possessed Phantom and even used while in the Phantom's hands. The Arrow Orbs may be used to change the direction of normal arrows as well as Light Arrows.
