Template:Enemy box The Anubis, presumably named after the Greek name for the jackal-headed god in Egyptian mythology, Anubis, is an undead creature in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. The Anubis has a mimicking nature and, unlike most enemies, doesn't attack Link directly, but rather will only harm him if he is to strike first. They cannot be killed with swords, however, and hitting them with a blade actually results in them torching Link. The only way to kill them is with fire, which can be done leading them into flame-filled obstacles, or by using either fire arrows or Din's Fire. They appear only in the Spirit Temple.
