Link kicks the crossbow to Zelda, who zaps away the Tinsuit that was holding Link and gives him a chance to escape. However, a Tinsuit that was on the ground trips Link and grabs him by the ankle, and shortly after, the Tinsuit blows a horn to summon an Octorok. With Zelda's crossbow now out of ammo, the Octorok throws Link off to a nearby barn, but the young hero gets back up now holding a piece of wood. The Octorok then fires a beam of light that the young hero bats back so that it finally defeats the last Tinsuit.

The place is found right from the Spirit House, near where Tingle draws his maps. Although it can be entered anytime, full exploration of it is only possible after Link collects the Gibdo Mask.

In "The Moblins are Revolting", Tinsuits are part of the Brotherhood of Underworld Monsters and are one of the many foes who try to get revenge on Link and Zelda. A particular scene shows several Tinsuits that begin to climb a ladder to get inside North Castle, but the ladder eventually breaks due to their weight.

At the bottom of the well is a maze of colossal size, guarded by many traps and enemies. In front of each door within the maze is a Gibdo. In order to advance through the maze, Link must to speak to each Gibdo while wearing the Gibdo Mask and fulfill any need they might have. In each case, this will be a specific item which they will not request directly, but rather give Link a cryptic clue to decipher.

Trivia
A notable enemy within the well is a Big Poe; however, the only one there must be captured in a bottle and given to one of the Gibdos in order to proceed. At the very end of the maze lies the prize, the Mirror Shield, which grants access to Ikana Castle.

Etymology
Beneath the well the Gidbos will demand Blue Potion, five Magic Beans, ten Bombs, ten Deku Nuts, a Bug, Milk, A Fish, Spring Water, Hot Spring Water and a Big Poe. Most of these items will be found in the well, however, Link will need to get the Blue Potion and Magic Beans outside the well (both can be found in Southern Swamp, where the Potion can even be earned for free by trading two Magic Mushrooms to Kotake).

Trivia
*The sign next to the entrance reads "Entry prohibited due to ghost sightings."

*This is a unique area in the game in that it contains the only regular Fairy Fountain. This requires giving many items to Gidbos and moving along a path that will fail to bring Link to the Mirror Shield.

*It is heavily implied that Pamela's Father became a Gibdo after he entered the well.

Not to be confused with Wosu, a wolf-like enemy in The Adventure of Link.

Template:Enemy Tinsuits are armored foes that appear as common enemies for Link in Zelda animated series. They are visually similar to Armos from the original The Legend of Zelda game apart from size and those that appear in the animated series, but they do not stand as statues, and instead play a similar role to Darknuts.

In "The White Knight", while Link and Princess Zelda are in an unnamed village, Tinsuits rise from the Underworld and begin to attack the young hero and the princess.[1] Link easily zaps several Tinsuits, with one of them dropping a crossbow and Rupees. With Link distracted by the loot, a Tinsuit throws its spear at Link and knocks off his sword, then grabs him from behind as more Tinsuits start to come off the ground.

Trivia

 • As the only named enemies that appear in the animated series that do not appear in the games, the name Tinsuit has been misappropriated to Wosu from The Adventure of Link. However, Tinsuits instead seem to be based on the original design of Armos.
