A Royal Investigation is a level 61 Challenge in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity.[1]
Overview[]
A Royal Investigation is a Challenge that can be completed using only Zelda. When completed for the first time, Zelda receives a reward of an Ethereal Stone, five Terrako Components, and ten Silent Princesses.
At the start of the Challenge, Zelda's objective is to capture three Outposts within seven minutes. One Outpost contains Fire-Breath Lizalfos, and a Fire Lynel spawns inside when Zelda approaches. Although, the Fire Lynel's defeat does not capture the Outpost, and Zelda has to defeat a large Fire-Breath Lizalfos instead. The other two Outposts are just like the first, except that all Enemies are infused with ice for the second and with electricity for the third. Other Enemies, like Fire Keese, Ice Keese, and Electric Keese are also scattered around the Outposts, along with a few Octoroks and many Silver Bokoblins near Zelda's starting point. Once the objective is reached, two Malice Lynel spawn in a new southern Outpost and the time limit is set to five minutes. The Challenge ends once the Malice Lynel are defeated.
