"A Call from the Depths" is a Side Quest in Tears of the Kingdom.
Overview[]
At the Great Plateau's Temple of Time, Link heard a godly voice coming out from a large Goddess Statue. It gave Link a task, to find four eyes on the surface of the Great Plateau, throw them into the chasm, and bring the eyes to them. They will reward Link with a blessing for bringing their eyes back.
Link ventured around the Great Plateau and finds the missing eyes. He threw them all down into the nearest chasms and took them down the rail tracks and to the source of the voice: A large Bargainer Statue. Once all the eyes are returned, it expressed its gratitude and explained why their eyes were removed.[1]
As promised, the statue gave Link a blessing:[2] A choice of either a Heart Container or a Stamina Vessel.[3]

Bugs[]
- Sometimes the eye(s) may not fall properly down the chasm if thrown conventionally. If the eye does not appear at the bottom even after being thrown in the chasm, chances that the eye will return back to its original starting position.
