It is hinted that Mikau was romantically involved with Lulu, and could perhaps be the father of her children, as she initially doesn't want to tell him that the Gerudo pirates took her eggs. This is also supported by the fact that he is determined to get the eggs, even to the point of death.

Biography

Spoiler warning: Plot or ending details follow.

Lulu is an female adult Zora. She is the lead singer in a popular all-Zora band named the Indigo-Gos. At some time before the events of Majora's Mask, she had given birth to seven Zora Eggs that were stolen from her by the Gerudo Pirates. It is also theorized that she may be romantically involved with fellow band member Mikau.

Loss of her voice

When the Gerudo Pirates stole her eggs from her room in Zora Hall, Lulu lost her voice. Link infiltrated the Gerudo Fortress at Great Bay Coast and retrieved four of the seven total eggs. To keep them safe and healthy, Link left them in the care of the Marine Biologist, who had long ago set aside a special tank for Zora Eggs.

After saving four of the seven eggs, Link went after the last three located at Pinnacle Rock hidden by giant sea snakes. To get to Pinnacle Rock, Link had to provide the Fisherman of Great Bay with a picture of a Gerudo Pirate. If he was presented with such a picture, he would give Link a Seahorse that led him to Pinnacle Rock without getting lost in the murky water.

Finally saving all seven Zora Eggs, Link returned to the Marine Research Laboratory and safely put them all back in the aquarium tank. They then all simultaneously hatched and aligned themselves on the walls of the tank, bearing the resemblance of notes on a staff, thus teaching Link the New Wave Bossa Nova.

Link played the New Wave Bossa Nova to Lulu at Zora Cape, and he awoke the Giant Turtle who told Link of the Zora's need for help. Link them climbed onto the Giant Turtle's back and raced away to Great Bay Temple.

Destroying Gyorg, Link returned to Zora Hall to see that Lulu had gained her voice back. Link could them participate in band rehearsals for the upcoming Clock Town concert until the end of the three day cycle.

Relationship with Mikau

Theory warning: This section contains theoretical information based on the research of one or several other users. It has not been officially verified by Nintendo and its factual accuracy is disputed.

It is hinted that Mikau was romantically involved with Lulu, and could perhaps be the father of her children. This theory is supported by the fact that she initially kept the fact that Gerudo Pirates had stolen her eggs a secret from him and the rest of the band members. This is also supported by the fact that Mikau is determined to get the stolen eggs retrieved, even to the point of death.
