Nah but positive after success of previous movies that looked bad but turned out good (Mario Movie, Minecraft Movie)
I do not think movie video games are ever as good as the games (or even books), because they always think they have to "fix" everything and change it.
It'd be better to have Link as the left-handed main protag, Zelda as right-handed deuteragonist, and the big bad guy Ganondorf as right-handed antagonist and the final enemy to take down. And the Master Sword in Link's left hand with Hylian Shield on his right arm. And the Master Sword should keep the carbon steel blade, the straight edges that end with the sharp spear point, the upswept winged quillons curved to the blade, and the two golden jewels on the guard (one on both sides). Link could be 5'8, Zelda could be 5'9, and the giant Ganondorf could be way bigger at 9'2 or 9'6 so it feels like David vs. Goliath.
I actually hoped it could be animated just like the Mario movie...
I think bowser should be more like eight feet.
@PrincessOfIndia12, agreed
What happened to tall Link?
If possible, keep the movie at PG-13 with bloody violence (with the gore at PG-13, like with Studio Ghibli's Princess Mononoke), scary images, action, adventure, and the battle sequences. Maybe some language at PG-13. Link AND Zelda aged 16-17 years old. Link as the protag, Zelda as the deuteragonist. Ganondorf as the main bad guy and the final enemy. A war of good vs. evil with some moral gray mixed in. The live-action could work, just like The Lord o' the Rings movie trilogy filmed in New Zealand. Real works of art. AND Link should be clothed in his signature green tunic with his signature green hat, the long-sleeved shirt, the short-sleeved chainmail shirt, pants, AND high quality boots (not royal). Zelda could wear her royal outfit at the castle, and a more practical outfit on an adventure with Link (while keepin' her royal tiara on her head). Link's hair could be longer, reachin' to his shoulders. Zelda's hair could be with the same ponytail hairstyle in Echoes o' Wisdom that looks more tomboyish. Ganondorf keeps his beard (but no mustache at all) and the long hair. Don't forget the iconic Master Sword with the hexagonal blade cross-section and the two golden jewels on the upswept winged cross-guard. And the Hylian Shield, too. The special effects to the Master Sword's power with sacred light, sacred fire, and the divine lightnin' should be done by human visual artists.
Male characters portrayed by males (actors) AND female characters portrayed by females (actresses). Link should be portrayed by a biological young man as the main protag (as usual). And the princess Zelda should be portrayed by a biological young woman as the deuteragonist.
What do you think?
