The Sword Blade is an Item in Phantom Hourglass.[1]
Location and Uses[]
The Sword Blade is an unfinished and unusable form of the Phantom Sword, the only weapon capable of defeating Bellum and the Phantoms. It is forged by Zauz after Link brings him the three Pure Metals; Aquanine, Azurine, and Crimsonine. As the forging of the Sword Blade is a lengthy process, Link must leave Zauz to the task for a time.[2] It is at this point the young hero receives a Letter from Jolene challenging him to a final battle.
After defeating Jolene and returning to Zauz's house, the Sword Blade is completed and presented to Link.[3] Ciela is confused by the blade's lack of a handle,[4] until Zauz suggests bringing it to Oshus,[5] who fuses the Sword Blade with the Phantom Hourglass itself to create the Phantom Sword.
