The Quarry Ruins are a location in Breath of the Wild.[1]

Features and Overview[]

The Quarry Ruins are located in Hyrule Field, southwest of Hyrule Castle and West Castle Town. The Quarry Ruins are a rocky terrain with very few Trees that were used to supply stones for the Kingdom of Hyrule prior to the second Great Calamity.[2] The Katah Chuki Shrine sits in a nook along the southeastern side of the Ruins, beside the wall bordering West Castle Town. A Rare Ore Deposit can be found under a pile of bombable rocks in a crevice just before the peak of the hill in the north. There is also a ruined village to the southwest, along the path.

A stone Treasure Chest containing a bundle of five Shock Arrows can be found beneath a stone slab atop a broken wall in the northeast section of the Ruins.

A Korok can be found by popping a Balloon hidden in the Tree near the castle wall. Two more are located atop the northern hill: one by completing a circular Rock Pattern, and the other in a Natural Hiding Spot buried beneath a Rock pile. A fourth Korok can be found hiding in a Natural Hiding Spot atop a raised piece of land around the center of the Ruins. Another Korok is nestled in a corner between two hills to the Quarry's north and rewards a Korok Seed after completing a spiral Rock Pattern puzzle. Upon finding these Koroks, they will gift Link a Korok Seed.[3]
