Guardian Acorns are items in Link's Awakening.[1][note 1]

Location and Uses[]

Guardian Acorns appear after defeating 12 consecutive enemies without getting hit.[3] When obtained, the music changes while halving all damage Link receives for three hits.[4]

In Link's Awakening DX, when the Blue Clothes are obtained, obtaining a Guardian Acorn reduces all damage taken to a fourth.

Notes

  1. This item is also referred to as Acorns of Defense on Zelda.com and in The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening — Nintendo Player's Guide by Nintendo of America.[2][3] However, because Encyclopedia takes precedence, this term is not considered Canon.
